• District 87 eLearning Days

  • All District 87 schools are closed through April 7 due to the ongoing spread of the Coronavirus.
Students will continue completing eLearning activities on Monday March 30.
The district is waiting on guidance from the Illinois State Board of Education regarding the plan for Tuesday onward. Spring Break will continue as scheduled from March 23-27. At this time, we are expected to resume school on Wednesday, April 8.

    Expectations for eLearning Days
District 87 is providing activities for students to have a continuity of learning. The Illinois State Board of Education has strongly encouraged school districts to provide instruction to students during these Act of God Days through whatever means possible. The purpose of this instruction is to keep minds active and relationships strong during the closure. Assignments will not be graded and attendance will not be taken.

    • For PK-5 students:
Packets with assigments were mailed home to families on Monday, March 16.
    • For 6-12 students:
Students will utilize their district-issued computer or personal device to access assignments from teachers.
  • Additional resources such as learning activities, videos, and educational websites will be uploaded here soon.
