🎤🤩Spotlights, the Wheel stage
Fifty thousand fans screamin' in a rage
Bodyguards and limousines
This is the way we see you our my dreams...
We'll be your groupies, Cheatham
'Cause you are our superstar
We're your number one fans, give us your autograph
Sign it right here on our heart 🎤✨
This past Friday some of our BACC staff gathered to cheer on our very own superstar, Mrs. Cheatham in her appearance as a contestant on The Wheel of Fortune. Aside from her being a superstar in the classroom every single day, Mrs. Cheatham (aka Audrey from Farmer City) had the opportunity to represent BACC as she took her chance spinning the wheel with Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White in sunny Los Angeles. Of course we had to show up and support when the episode aired because we are her number 1 fans. Congratulations to Mrs. Cheatham on now being more famous than the rest of us !!!

Arby's claim to fame is that they have the meats. Well, here at BACC we have the skills to pay the bills and that is being proven right now, as a group of our students are in Peoria competing at the SkillsUSA Illinois Elite Competitions. We have multiple students and teams putting what they've learned here at BACC to the test and showing everyone who we are and what we know. We are very proud of each and every student who is competing and we wish them all well in their competitions this weekend! Special shout out to our teachers who are traveling with and supporting the students, as well. You are appreciated!

Here at the BACC it brings us such joy when our students excel. Recently two of our students were honored at the Illinois Principal's Association's Student Recognition Breakfast. Our very own principal, Mr. Hansen, attended the breakfast with BACC honorees Josh Berkler and Devin Adams. We are so proud of you Josh and Devin and we hope that you continue shining bright like diamonds in the sky, congratulations!!!

It was all beauty, no beast, when our cosmetology students went to America's Beauty Show in Rosemont, IL. The show offered students a chance to see what new and innovative things are trending in the world of cosmetology. Between industry speakers, educational workshops, and various product and company exhibits BACC students had the opportunity to learn and grab some swag while at the show.

In just a week from today, select BACC students will be heading down to Peoria to compete in the SkillsUSA competitions. With the guidance of Detective Krylowicz and using the recently donated police vehicle, our Criminal Justice and Law Enforcement competitors have been prepping for their Crime Scene Investigation competitions. Det. Krylowicz and BPD we would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to you for all that you do and have done to help our students get the best from this class and have a special edge at competition. 🎤🎵It might have appeared to go unnoticed, but we've got it all here in our hearts. Thoughtful, supportive, helpful, and caring are all words that come up when talking with BACC staff about our amazing Assistant Principal Mrs. Adams. From the surprise birthday gifts for staff to the never ending supply of Jolly Ranchers and mints on her desk for students (and staff), Mrs. Adams always makes sure that everyone around here knows they are safe, seen, and cared for. She can also be counted on for a good laugh, be it a joke in an awkward moment or poking fun at our dear Mr. Hansen. We are very grateful for everything you do Mrs. Adams and we truly appreciate the light, dedication, and care you bring to BACC every day. Thank you!
You know what, for being so awesome, you should take the next two days off 😉😂.

It's always slightly alarming to walk past a window and see someone on a stretcher, until you remember this is BACC and spot Mr. Matteson in the mix. This morning our EMT students were outside learning and practicing extracting a patient from a vehicle and safely getting them on a backboard.
