Message from Mr. Moore

Hello BHS Class of 2021 Students and Families,

As we continue to navigate the unique challenges the COVID pandemic has brought to our schools, we sympathize with the Class of 2021 who have missed out on many of the usual experiences that come with their final year of high school.

BHS and District 87 staff are committed to honoring and celebrating the graduating class of 2021 this spring. Discussions and planning are currently underway to create memories for these students and recognize their achievements. It is important to note that safety during the Covid pandemic will continue to be a high priority for us.  This means that much of what we are able to do will be dictated by what is allowed by the Illinois Department of Health and the Illinois State Board of Education.

The staff at BHS will be working with Senior students to collect feedback from their classmates  about their preferred activities and forms of celebration. In addition to new ideas, BHS plans to organize Senior Spotlights, Senior Week Activities, a Graduation event, an Expanded Yearbook, and more.

We will keep senior students and families informed as these plans are finalized. We are excited to celebrate the Class of 2021 and everything they have achieved during their Raider journey.

Take care and stay safe,

Mr. Tim Moore
Principal, BHS
