Bloomington Public Schools, District 87 is proud to offer the opportunity for juniors and seniors to earn the Seal of Biliteracy, in which students who show a high level of proficiency in two or more languages will be recognized by the state of Illinois. Students will be honored their senior/graduating year.
We value our students' linguistic diversity. Students who earn the Seal will receive the following:
A Seal attached to their diploma
Documentation of language proficiencies on their permanent transcript
Students who plan to attend an Illinois college or university will also earn credits for their accolades.
