🏫🌈 Introducing the Zones of Regulation at Sheridan Elementary! Supporting Healthy Emotions and Behaviors! 📚✨ Sheridan is implementing the Zones of Regulation program this year, which helps students understand and manage their feelings and behaviors by categorizing them into four distinct "Zones". 🌟💙 Some of the zones include: 🔵 Blue (Slow) Zone: This is when your body is feeling sluggish, such as when you're tired, sick, sad, or bored. 🟢 Green (Go) Zone: The Go Zone is when you're ready to learn and fully engaged. It's a state of feeling happy, calm, and focused. All the Sheridan Sharks participate in a morning check-in, where they have the opportunity to identify the Zone they are in. It empowers them to better understand their emotions and helps teachers provide the support and guidance they need. 🌈💛 Check out Mrs. Floit's kindergarteners engaging in their morning check-in today. It’s awesome to see our little ones taking ownership of their emotions and building a strong foundation for their success! 🌟🙌

🦈🎶 Today was an incredible day at Sheridan Elementary!
