There is a great opportunity for your 3rd, 4th & 5th grader to start the year off right with the Jump Start Youth "Back to School Prep" Program! If you are trying to position your student to have their best year yet the Jump Start Youth "Back to School Prep" Program could be the thing to set them up to do just that. This is the 7th year Jump Start Youth has served the families of District 87!
There are 30 remaining spaces available on a first come / first serve basis so don't delay! Hold your spot by replying "INTERESTED" to darryl@jumpstartmygoals.com today. A member of the Jump Start Youth team will reach out to get you signed up or answer any questions you may have.

Jump Start Youth "Back to School Prep" Program Objective: To equip students and their families with personal development skills and mindset tools necessary to achieve their academic & social goals. The Jump Start Youth concepts covered will emphasize personal awareness and prepare students for a successful school year.

Parents and Guardians......get ready to celebrate our teachers next week!
On Friday, May 10th, our school will be participating in a walk for St. Jude. Please refer to the flyers for more specific details!
This year we will be fundraising as a school for St. Jude. On the flyers attached, you'll find a QR code for donations. Mrs. Harless currently has a student who is a St. Jude patient. The flyer she created, with his family's permission, tells his story. We are hoping that this information will help both students and families understand the purpose behind the walk and fundraiser.
During the walk we will travel as grade levels through the neighborhood behind Stevenson. In addition, families will be invited to line the sidewalks to cheer on our students. This walk should take 10-15 minutes at most. Classes/students are encouraged to wear their St. Jude shirts/or yellow and can make signs/posters to carry as they walk.
It's going to be an awesome event!
