District 87 requests a background screening investigation on persons working with our student population. The Board of Education has adopted this process to ensure the safety of all students and staff, and we appreciate your cooperation in this process.
Chaperones:
Step 1 - Complete the D87 Partner Information Form
Step 2 - Complete Bushue Background Check Form for a name-based check. The process must be completed at least 7 days before the field trip.
Step 3 - You will receive an email stating you are cleared.
Volunteer Coaches:
Step 1 - Complete the D87 Partner Information Form
Step 2 - Contact Tony Bauman to let him know the form has been completed.
Step 3 - Look for an email from D87/Bushue about scheduling fingerprinting (please allow 1-2 business days).
Step 4 - You will be notified when you are cleared to start working.
Community Partners:
Step 1 - Make sure that your organization's Memo of Understanding was submitted at the start of this school year.
