CrisisGo Logo

District 87 is committed to providing a safe and secure learning environment for all students, staff, and visitors. As part of this commitment, we are introducing CrisisGo, a visitor management system for schools designed to enhance school security and streamline visitor processes.

Why District 87 is Using CrisisGo

  1. Safety and Security: CrisisGo allows us to monitor and manage all visitors entering our schools effectively, reducing risks and ensuring the safety of all individuals on campus.

  2. Accountability: By recording visitor information through a digital platform, we can better track who is on-site, for what purpose, and for how long, bolstering safety protocols.

  3. Efficiency: The system simplifies the check-in/check-out process, ensuring visitors can enter schools with minimal delay while meeting security and compliance standards.

  4. Preparedness: CrisisGo integrates safety tools and emergency responses, ensuring our district remains proactive in addressing potential risks or incidents.

Expectations for Visitors

To ensure the smooth operation of the CrisisGo visitor management system, we ask all visitors to adhere to the following:

  1. Check-In Process: Upon arriving at school, visitors must check in at the main office using the CrisisGo system. A valid government-issued ID is required to register (driver’s license, state ID passport).

  2. Identification Badge: Visitors will be provided with a badge that must be worn at all times while on school grounds. This helps staff and other visitors easily identify approved guests.

  3. Follow Staff Instructions: Visitors are expected to follow all safety protocols and staff instructions during their visit and remain only in the area they are authorized to visit.

  4. Check-Out Process: Before leaving the school, visitors must return to the main office to check out using the CrisisGo system, ensuring accurate records of entry and exit.

Additional Requirements for Field Trip Chaperones and Volunteers

Field trip chaperones, building volunteers, and classroom volunteers must also complete the following form prior to their visit:
Volunteer/Chaperone Form

This step helps ensure we maintain appropriate records and verify individuals for these important roles. After completing the background check, you will be issued a QR code that will allow you to reduce your check-in time at the building.

The use of CrisisGo reflects District 87's dedication to enhancing school safety with modern and effective tools. By working together to follow these protocols, we can ensure a positive and secure experience for everyone involved.
