summer lunch schedule

District 87 is once again offering free summer meals for children throughout the community during Summer 2026. The program provides breakfast and lunch options at multiple schools and community locations to help ensure students continue to have access to nutritious meals while school is out of session.

The Summer Meals Program will run weekdays from June 1 through August 7, 2026, with select sites continuing through August 14. Meals are free for all children 18 years old and younger. Adult meals will be available for $3.75.

Meal service will be available at several District 87 schools, community sites, and mobile lunch stop locations throughout Bloomington. Participating locations include Irving Elementary School, Sheridan Elementary School, Stevenson Elementary School, Oakland Elementary School, Bloomington High School, Bloomington Junior High School, the Bloomington Public Library, and the Boys & Girls Club.

District 87 will also provide mobile lunch stops at Friendship Park, Miller Park, Trinity Lutheran Church, and Wood Hill Family Center. Meals served at mobile locations must be eaten on site.

Families should note that all meal sites will be closed on June 19, 2026, and July 3, 2026.

The district encourages families to take advantage of this free resource throughout the summer months. Additional details about meal locations and serving times are available through District 87 Food Services.
