Leah will be joining the Raiders at BHS as an LBS1 teacher!
At this time last year, Leah was starting her senior year of college, preparing to pursue her dream of teaching. She was inspired to go into education because she wanted to see the future every day and help students follow their dreams.
Leah is already familiar with D87, having completed her Field Base semester here. She loved the sense of community and the connections she built, which made her want to deepen her roots and continue building impactful relationships at BHS.
Leah is most excited this year to coach cheer and promote school spirit among the Raiders family.

The following D87 buildings are still without power: the Brown Education Center, Stevenson, Oakland, Bent, and the District 87 offices.
⚠️ These buildings will remain closed to the public until further notice.
Staff may enter the buildings as needed. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this situation.
Backpacks and school supplies will be available at schools once distributed next week. WE will share more information soon about when and how families can pick up supplies.
