Last night, despite the snow, holiday spirit was in full swing across D87! Sheridan hosted its first "Deck the Halls" event, where students gathered at craft tables, creating festive decorations to brighten the school's halls.

Talented 7th-graders in the poetry club wowed everyone during their poetry reading! Guided by ISU staff Steve Halle & student poet Lydia Hansen and BJHS teachers Ms. Hutton & Mr. Kocourek- these young poets shared their creativity and voices, reading their own poems to classmates and guests.

Their kindness didn’t go unnoticed! The students were honored to receive a letter of appreciation back, along with a Battalion 8 patch and stickers! So cool!! 🧑🚒✨
