Celebrating Excellence! Some of our BHS students attended the annual Student Recognition Banquet hosted by the Illinois Principals Association at the Hancock Stadium Club at ISU. Owen Ryder and Aleigha Harvey, were recognized by the BHS Admin team and Assistant Principal Dan Saken attended the event with them. In addition, BHS student Brynn Hoder received her honors from the BACC Principal Bryce Hanson. These remarkable Raiders joined other students from across the Corn Belt region being recognized for their exemplary leadership, character, and academic achievements. The BHS Counselors will be hosting representatives from Heartland Community College on Thursday, October 5th at 5:30 pm during our Parent-Teacher Conferences. Come learn about the benefits of dual credit and how your student becomes eligible for this opportunity! What is dual credit? BHS partners with Heartland Community College to offer courses where students can earn college and high school credit simultaneously. These courses are taught in our building by our staff. The best part is that all of our dual credit courses are free! Please have your student bring their Chromebook or another device so we can complete the first step of the enrollment process. ¡Llamando a todas las familias de freshmen, sophomore y juniors! ¿Quieres aprender acerca de las clases gratuitas a nivel universitario disponibles para tu estudiante?
