🏰🎉This morning 6th grade Knights at BJHS started off their day with an assembly to welcome the new semester, from cheerleaders pumping up the Knights, to games highlighting ways to be Safe, Responsible and Respectful, to fun" Minute to Win it" games and a drawing for good attendance incentives (over 250 6th graders were in the drawing- keep up that great attendance!)- it was such a positive way to start off the week for these Knights!⚔️💪

They put their fraction skills to the test, calculating the exact amount of material needed for each student to create a small wooden tree 🌲 as a holiday gift for their families. It's where Math meets Woodworking! 🛠️📚 The students measured, cut, and assembled these wooden trees with precision and care. After working on animal reports for the entire 2nd quarter, our 4th-grade Sheridan Sharks were excited to present their detailed research project of their animal to staff and their loved ones at the 2nd Annual Animal Symposium!
It was ”sharktastic” to see the excitement and pride the students put into their projects. Sheridan definitely has some new animal experts in their 4th grade! Kudos to the great work well done!
