🐾🐾After working on animal reports for the entire 2nd quarter📚, our 4th-grade Sheridan Sharks were excited to present their detailed research project of their animal 🦁🐵🐧 to staff and their loved ones! It was awesome to see the excitement and pride our Sharks put into their projects. 🌎 Celebrating World Holidays with Ms Hoepner's Pre-K! 🎊 The week before break, Ms Hoepner's Pre-K classes at Sarah Raymond learned about holidays around the world- St. Lucia, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah & Christmas! 🕯🖐🎄 They made candle wreaths for St. Lucia, kinara bracelets for Kwanzaa, painted dreidels for Hanukkah & watched the Grinch and decorated trees for Christmas. ✍️💼There's something heartwarming about a good ol' fashioned pen-pal friendship! Our BJHS's 8th-grade K team has been building a bond with residents of Goldwater Care Nursing Home by writing letters to each other. Recently our Knights had a special surprise for their pen-pals and visited the Goldwater Care nursing home! They came with holiday goodie bags 🎁 packed for their new friends to bring some joy and warmth this holiday season. Their visit lit up the room and brought smiles to the faces of both our students and their pen pals. 🦓🦒To celebrate the end of their animal adaptations unit, the students in Mrs. Wiggs's 4th-grade class at Bent had some visitors from Miller Park Zoo!
